The traveling exhibit of Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination has completed its 3 month stay in Lafayette, Louisiana and the Lafayette Science Museum was treated to some amazing attendance numbers.
"We had 54,411 people come through the exhibit," said Mary Henderson, Lafayette Science Museum director. "That's about a year's worth of attendance in three months. People came because of the resonance the Star Wars films have in our culture."
The exhibit, "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination," closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Workers Friday continued the three-week process of deconstructing the exhibit, organizing shipping crates and loading trucks to bring the exhibit to its next stop."
So where can fans next hope to see Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination? The exhibit is scheduled to run at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, Washington from March 19, 2011 to May 8, 2011. Details, ticket information and directions can be found at the Pacific Science Center website.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
