Between trailers and novels, Star Wars: The Old Republic has been hyped beyond belief. We've been expecting BioWare's massively-multiplayer online roleplaying game to debut in Spring of this year, and while a second-half-of-2011 launch is still planned, BioWare recently let slip that there's a chance the game might slip -- to 2012.
According to Kotaku, the BioWare statement came during a May 4 investor call. EA Games president Frank Gibeau told the conference that "While we fully anticipate launching Star Wars: The Old Republic in Q2 or Q3 [of EA's fiscal year], the low end of our guidance range assumes the outside possibility of a January launch."
Why did BioWare reveal the slight chance of yet another The Old Republic delay? Gibeau gave two reasons, which you can see over at Kotaku.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
