SW.com informs us of an upcoming "Star Wars: The Clone Wars Night" with the Phoenix Suns, where some of the proceeds will be going to charity...
"The Phoenix Suns will journey to "a galaxy far, far away" with a Star Wars-themed game when the team takes on the Houston Rockets. "Star Wars: The Clone Wars Night" will take place Sunday, April 11, at US Airways Center. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. (Are you a basketball fan and a Star Wars fan? Then check out these must-have jerseys.)
In partnership with Lucasfilm, the Suns will offer a special discounted ticket package that includes an exclusive Phoenix Suns/Star Wars t-shirt and photo opportunities with classic Star Wars characters. The unique night will also feature in-game Star Wars entertainment, including a "Star Wars on Planet Orange" player introduction video, Suns Dancers in Princess Leia costumes, a Gorilla lightsaber duel and a sneak peek at an upcoming episode of the hit Cartoon Network series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars."
