Brian Jacks from MTV News sends us this extremely exciting tidbit on the casting process for the upcoming Star Wars live action TV series!
Below is an excerpt from the article:
"A live-action TV series set in the ?Star Wars? cosmos has been an elusive, tantalizing prospect for years. News of the potential production first surfaced in 2005 while George Lucas was promoting ?Revenge of the Sith.? Work on the ?Clones Wars? animated feature film and Cartoon Network series, though, took creative precedence. In late 2007, Lucas revealed that he and his team were about to begin writing scripts for the live-action show. Now MTV News has learned that casting for the series is currently underway."
UPDATE: A Lucasfilm rep has comfimed to EW.com that there is currently a casting agent in Australia "doing some preliminary ground work, but official casting will not start until the scripts are complete." It doesn't seem as if production will begin on the live-action series until sometime in 2010 at the earliest. More as we hear it...less if we don't!
UPDATE #2: Our good friend Jack (aka "LMB" on the forums) sends us this little tidbit of news about Jay Laga'aia possibly joining the cast for the live action TV series.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
