The latest issue of Star Wars Insider Magazine (#137, on shelves now) announces the winners of the publication's first annual Insider Awards. Below you can check out Titan Magazines' full press release on the occasion of this momentous event.
DARTH VADER QUOTE - ?NO. I AM YOUR FATHER.? VOTED AS FAVORITE STAR WARS MOMENT EVER!
"One of the most jaw-dropping and quoted lines from the Star Wars saga has been named the ?favorite Star Wars moment? in a poll conducted by Star Wars Insider, the official Star Wars magazine.
Fans chose the pivotal scene where Darth Vader reveals that he is Luke Skywalker?s father in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. This often-quoted scene featuring Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker and the voice talents of James Earl Jones and actor David Prowse as Vader is such a memorable moment from the saga, it?s no surprise that it has resonated with fans as their favorite Star Wars moment of all time.
Elsewhere, Obi-Wan Kenobi, portrayed in the original trilogy by Sir Alec Guinness and in the prequel trilogy by Ewan McGregor, was voted favorite hero, beating Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford. Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, which was released in 1980, was voted favorite Star Wars movie of all time! The full results from the awards are revealed in the latest issue of Star Wars Insider magazine issue #137.
Over 14,000 Star Wars fans voted for their favorite parts of the Star Wars galaxy across nine categories in the first annual Star Wars Insider Awards.
"Star Wars fans are very passionate about the saga, so we knew there'd be a great response. However, we didn't expect the thousands of votes that flooded in", said Star Wars Insider editor, Jonathan Wilkins. ?There are some very big surprises, and quite a few shock results. Congratulations to all the winners, and especially to the recipients of our special awards!"
The awards edition also includes a special archival interview with Mark Hamill from January 1977, just a few months before the first Star Wars movie was released, with rare, behind-the-scene photographs. Plus, there?s a feature on the amazing links between two of the greatest movies series, Indiana Jonesand Star Wars.

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
