SW Fandom Comics Charity Event To Benefit Children's Literacy
Posted By Mike on September 20, 2012
Our friends at Star Wars Fandom Comics sent word of their latest charity event...
"We have a big charity event going on at FandomComics.com where we will be giving away all sorts of prizes including items autographed by Mark Hamill, Tem Morrison, Daniel Logan, and more to benefit children's literacy. The organization being benefited is Comic Book Project, which is run by the Center for Educational Pathways charity. It helps with child literacy by having them create and share their own comic books. Dark Horse Comics actually supplies them with their materials, so it seemed a very good fit for us.
Entering the giveaway is free, just go to FandomComics.com and fill out the registration form between now and October 15th. You can earn extra entries by "liking" Fandom Comics, our sponsor HalloweenCostumes.com, and Comic Book Project on Facebook, as well as sharing news about the event on Facebook with friends. You can earn quite a few extra entries by actually donating to Comic Book Project through our registration page."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
