Rumor: Alfonso Cuaron, Simon Pegg Involved In SW Films?
Posted By Eric on February 26, 2013
The entertainment blog MarketSaw is reporting several rumors out of left field today. Although the blog has been right in the past, we advise you to take all of these tidbits with a nice big grain of salt. Here's what MarketSaw's source told them:
Ultimately [J. J. Abrams] is the perfect choice to direct episode 7, and set up the franchise to steward through the first trilogy. The names I mentioned to you before, remember them (EDITOR'S NOTE: my source's director list can be found here). Alfonso Cuaron especially. Trust me.
[...]
Star Wars news is going to be very thin on the ground for the foreseeable future, but expect Simon Pegg to be involved in some capacity. Can't say why, but lets just say I have a strong feeling about that.
MarketSaw's source also lists the following names as examples of spinoff film main characters:
Yoda, Palpatine, Jabba, Boba, Plagueis etc.
We've heard Yoda and Boba before, but...Palpatine? Plagueis? Jabba? The list of potential spinoff film stories just keeps getting more and more interesting.
Like I said at the top, let's not rush to judgment. Just because MarketSaw has been right in the past doesn't mean that they're right now or that they'll always be right in the future. In any event, if you want to read the full rumor report, click here.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
