The Saturday edition (January 29th) of The Times in the UK featured 5 pages on 'Revenge of the Sith', which included interviews with Rick McCallum, Hayden Christensen, and Ian McDiarmid. Here are some of the highlights from the interviews.
Rick McCallum on 'Revenge of the Sith':
This is the film that everybody wanted the first and the second one to be ...
... 'Revenge of the Sith' is the darker, more mature film that the hardcore fans have always wanted. It is closer to the spirit of 'The Empire Strikes Back', which is many people's favourite.
Rick McCallum on the duel:
The duel is all about Anakin's betrayal of Obi-Wan ... his perceived feeling that Obi-Wan has betrayed him.
We're taking it to another level. It's longer, 12 minutes, and the geography we cover is so diverse - different environments affect the way we fight. It's very fierce and emotional - two comrades having a fight to the death.
Hayden Christensen on the criticism he received for his portrayal of Anakin in AOTC:
Did I agree with some of the criticisms? Sure. But his petulance is essential to Anakin's downfall. The ambition, the sense that there's an injustice to life, wanting to right those wrongs - that frustration lends itself to a whiny quality.
Ian McDiarmid on Anakin/Vader:
Vader is a great iconic evil figure, maybe the greatest of all screen villains. But his predicament in this film will be a little more understandable. He's more of a twisted soul, twisted by the poison I pour into his ear.
He doesn't want to go through the process of learning - and Palpatine can give him that now.

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
