Press Coverage Of TCW's 100th Episode

Channel Guide Magazine has posted an interview with The Clone Wars supervising director Dave Filoni to mark the series' 100th episode. They asked Dave about a number of subjects, from Darth Maul to Disney purchasing Lucasfilm to the move from Friday night to Saturday morning.

In addition, Vanity Fair published a collection of articles about the show to celebrate the occasion.

AJ Marechal interviewed Filoni about how the show balances the desires and interests of different generations of Star Wars fans.
Brian Lowry wrote about the show's ability to capture different aspects of the galaxy than the movies did without abandoning the saga's classic elements.
Iain Blair talked to Joel Aron about the series' visual influences, particularly the original Star Wars trilogy.

Lowry summarized the importance of The Clone Wars to Lucasfilm's new owner thusly: "Lucas' exit strategy from stewarding every aspect of "Star Wars" with the sale of his company to Disney ... came with a helpful bridge, which should give the studio a good feeling about the property's boundless future."
