Solidifying our initial story that Boba Fett is expected to be making an appearance in an upcoming episode(s) of The Clone Wars TV series, we have an official confirmation from Hasbro's Derryl DePriest printed in the latest issue of ToyFare Magazine. Issue #153 features an article with DePriest discussing the genesis of the eagerly-anticipated rocket-firing Vintage Collection Boba Fett mail-away figure and provides the following concrete evidence that Boba will in fact be present in TCW (quote taken from page 58 of the magazine):

"The 30th Anniversary of Empire Strikes Back, plus the revelation that Boba Fett will be appearing in the animated Clone Wars series, really triggered our decision," says Derryl DePriest, Vice President, Global Brand Marketing at Hasbro, Inc. "We decided to give fans the one figure that was promised so tantalizingly but never really delivered in the way it was offered. I ordered six of these myself as a kid with the relentless hope that I would get one that fired. Now, 30 years later, my wish is finally fulfilled."
