After being nominated for an award for his performance as The Joker again, Mark Hamill came away from Spike TV's Video Game Awards show with a sour taste in his mouth this past weekend. Even his co-star Tara Strong, who voiced Harley Quinn, wasn't pleased with the way they were treated. It had nothing to do with the fact that neither actor won the award in their respective category either. Mark and Tara both tweeted their displeasure with their seats no where near the stage and their categories not even mentioned during the live show.
Mark:Weird VGAs! Don't mind losing but I'd like to know when it happens Did I miss something?Award given off-camera? Tara & I in lousy seats BOO!
Tara:VGA awards r just a big commercial! They did not even announce vo live, me & @HamillHimself sat in the bleachers
I mean, I got my make-up done; I at least wanted a close up of my face when I lost but pretended to be happy for someone else!!!
Hey, @SPIKE_TV, if you weren't going 2 announce the nominees, y have us come 2 the show? VO may not matter 2 u, but it sure does to us.
The game that got Mark and Tara their nominations, Batman: Arkham City, did take home the award for Best X-Box 360 Game, Character of the Year (The Joker), Best Action Adventure Game and Best Adapted Video Game.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
