Our friend "Drturkturkleton" sent over the following:
"Mark Hamill held a discussion at Cal State University Long Beach Thursday night. Some of the film students filmed this, so there might be something posted online in the next few weeks. There are a few tidbits I can offer, but until you have the video, I can't provide you with any source.
He mostly discussed upcoming projects and voice work, but a few times he did mention Star Wars. The audition was a cattle call, and once he was grouped with Harrison Ford and Carrie Fischer, it was either their group of three or three completely different actors. Mark would often go to set when he wasn't called, especially, as he said, to watch Peter Cushing. Mark said George is always quiet on a set, and that it's true that all he says is "Faster, and more intense." The cast of Star Wars printed shirts that said "Faster" on the front, and "And More Intense" on the back, only to discover the cast of American Graffiti had done the same thing! He mentioned that he's not fond of digital sets, and the only complaint about Jar Jar (that he would admit) was that he feared completely digitally created creatures and actors may one day replace the real thing.
I have only one picture to offer, and it's not great, but again, hopefully there will be some video posted soon."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
