The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Lucasfilm has won another infringment lawsuit as earlier reported here on TheForce.net.
Here's a snippet from the SFC : "Chalk another victory up for King George, whose company, Lucasfilm Ltd., won a court battle against a small Maryland company that was selling "Star Wars" lightsabers without proper trademark approval.
High-Tech Magic will pay $250,000 to Lucasfilm as part of a judgment handed down by U.S. District Judge Ronald Whyte of the Northern District of California, San Jose Division on Wednesday.
Whyte also barred the Maryland firm from using the trademarks and required that they not sell "any facsimile of a lighted or glowing sword ... and/or parts designed to enable others to build" infringing lightsabers."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
