Scott, the founder of TFN and now reporting for ComingSoon.Net pretty much recorded the entire press day in Los Angeles last week. Up today we've got several recordings of Mark Hamill, Irvin Kershner and more!
Concluding the Star Wars Trilogy DVD Q&A was Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill. I had spoken with Mark Hamill over the phone before for TheForce.Net, but this was my first time to meet him in person. Needless to say, he was the highlight of the presentation. With his amusing anecdotes, hilarious impressions, and insight into the films, he had the audience's complete attention. And as you'll see, his comments wandered all over the map but they were always interesting. Listen to Mark Hamill now! (Partial Transcript)
Continuing the rollout of the Star Wars Trilogy DVD, the third Q&A of the day was with the director of "The Empire Strikes Back," Irvin Kershner. It's not every day that you get to meet the director of one of your all time favorite films, so this was quite a treat. Listen to Irvin Kershner now! (Partial Transcript)
Jim Ward again took center stage and led us through the "Empire Strikes Back" DVD. He showed off the random menus on the DVD then took us into the Bonus Material disc. We got to see a few clips from each of the presentations (most of these we had already seen at the San Diego Comic Con). At the conclusion of this, they conducted a Q&A with Ward, Lowry, Dean, and Ling. Listen to the DVD Q&A now! (Partial Transcript)
The second Q&A in the Star Wars Trilogy DVD rollout was Kevin Burns, the director of the documentary "Empire of Dreams". At 2 ? hours long, it covers the making of the trilogy from concept through "Episode I". Even then, there's still a lot that had to be left out. Listen to Ken Burns now! (Partial Transcript)
Again, a huge thanks to ComingSoon.Net for the hook up! Make sure you visit them for daily general movie news.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
