Star Wars fan site EUCantina.net just posted an interview with LucasBooks Jennifer Heddle, and for fans of the Expanded Universe, this interview is definitely worth reading. Heddle, who joined Lucasfilm publishing division LucasBooks in October 2011, discussed settling into her role at the company and provided a few tidbits about upcoming EU novels like Drew Karpyshyn's The Old Republic: Annihilation. Here is a small portion of their Q&A in which Heddle discusses what may be coming up next.
EUC: Any chance a Leia or Padme novel will be published anytime soon?
JH: There are a couple different plans in the works to focus a bit more on Leia (in both the novels and the comic books). There?s nothing planned for Padme at this time, but never say never.
EUC: Can you give us any hints about the new post-Fate of the Jedi series or era?
JH: We?ll be making an announcement about that at San Diego Comic-Con, so stay tuned.
We'll be sure to cover any and all post-Fate of the Jedi announcements that come out of San Diego Comic-Con. Heddle also announced that she would be at Celebration VI for a few days. Hopefully she will be there to take part in a host of great Expanded Universe panels. Click through to EUCantina.net to read the rest of the interview.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
