Between TCW season 2 footage and other things talked about at the Star Wars Spectacular and Karen Traviss quitting Star Wars, EU fans have started to grow more and more concerned over possible continuity issues arising between the EU and The Clone Wars series. We won't get into the whole canon debate here, for quite frankly, to each their own. Just enjoy Star Wars in any manner that works for you. One day down the road, we'll all have a good laugh about this as we enjoy a delightful EU/TCW buddy comedy. Anyhoo, the Holocron-keeper himself, Leland Chee, has commented on the issue in a couple of places:
"As far as continuity is concerned, my advise is to wait and see whatactually happens in the Season 2 episodes before jumping to any conclusionsabout what continuity, if any, has been altered."
"I do not respond to Star Wars continuity questions via Facebook. Iunderstand your concerns and feel your pains over the uncertaintiesregarding the state of Star Wars continuity. Rest-assured, I have beenworking closely with the folks in Animation and with our authors and editorsfrom early on dealing with any seeming continuity issues."
Thanks as always to regular EU/book source Eddie for the news!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
