John Jackson Miller Finishes Writing SW: Kenobi

John Jackson Miller, author of many Dark Horse Star Wars comics and the Knight Errant novel, has finished writing Star Wars: Kenobi, his next EU novel. First announced at New York Comic-Con 2012, Kenobi will set shortly after the events of Revenge of the Sith.

After seven years rattling in my brain, the last word of KENOBI is on paper. Rounds of revision to come, but the feeling now is beyond joy.

In addition, a product page for Kenobi has appeared on the Random House website (hat tip: Knights Archive), listing a release date of September 24, 2013. This date is of course tentative, but at least now fans have a rough sense of how long they'll have to wait to read this eagerly-awaited novel.
