"In the four years since it launched, The ForceCast has gone from a two-hour Friday iTunes download to a universe of people, segments, guests, programs, in-jokes, and more. It continues to cover the Star Wars universe and its fandom, but nowadays the ForceCast is a community in its own right. At times, it's hard to remember every little detail of the ForceCast universe. Which episode featured Jimmy Mac's first Ziro the Hutt impression? What did the ForceCast do for April Fools' Day 2010? Wouldn't it be great if there was one website with answers to questions like these?

Well, now there is. Introducing The Official ForceCast Wiki.

This wiki is still in the very early stages, and as it hasn't been announced on the show yet, you -- yes, you, reading this blog post -- are among the first people to see it. I have been working on it behind the scenes for the past few weeks, much like a secret clone army that I was waiting to reveal at the right time. Now that the secret is out, you too can reap the benefits of a single source for ForceCast knowledge and wisdom.

One of the first things you'll notice is that the wiki is very sparse. As soon as you visit the site, you may search for any number of things ("Billy Dee Quote of the Week" or "The George Lucas Hip Hop Awards") and discover that a ton of important pages don't exist yet. Right now the wiki contains basic information about each ForceCast program, as well as information about the people associated with the show and with TheForce.Net and Rebelscum.com. There is little else on the wiki at the moment.

But that's okay. One of the reasons why this wiki is so important is that, like Wookieepedia and Wikipedia, you can edit it. So when you discover that something isn't on the wiki yet, go ahead and add it. When you see an existing article that lacks certain information, edit the page and enhance the content. If everyone participates, the cracks will be filled in rapidly and the wiki will stay up-to-date with the latest information about The ForceCast.

There is one important thing you need to do before you start contributing. On the wiki homepage you'll see a link to the Manual of Style. You must read this page before you begin writing. Inconsistent formatting on a wiki is almost as bad as missing information. Don't dive right in until you've familiarized yourself with our short list of rules and guidelines. We want the wiki to be informative and comprehensive, but it should also be easy to read and unified in its style. You can help make it that way by reading the Manual of Style and then getting started.

As the ForceCast continues to expand, I believe this wiki will grow more and more useful. You can help make that happen by editing, so head on over to The Official ForceCast Wiki and get started. To paraphrase our motto here at The ForceCast, "The Galaxy is Contributing!"'
