Star Wars artists Grant Gould (Topps? Artist Sketch Cards) and Tom Hodges (Reversal of Fortune, Evasive Action) have recently revealed (here and here) that a new weekly Clone Wars online comic is forthcoming. Naturally, this will tie-in with the new TV series, but there?s a unique twist that sets this venture apart from the print Clone Wars comics: each of these comics will actually lead into the episode airing that week.
Other artists attached to the project include Katie Cook (Topps Trading Cards) and Jeff Carlisle (New Jedi Order Sourcebook, Power of the Jedi Sourcebook), and Hodges has stated on the Literature forum that he believes Pablo Hidalgo (Rookies, HoloNet News) will be writing for the comic.
No word yet on whether this will be available to everyone, or only through starwars.com?s members-only Hyperspace section, but Hodges has confirmed that these will be full color five page comics, unlike Hyperspace?s smaller black-and-white daily comic strips.
Thanks to Eddie and everyone else who sent this one in! You can discuss this exciting event here.
UPDATE: Check out the main site announcement right here! It doesn't seem to be Hyperspace exclusive.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
