A couple of seniors at Westfield High School in Massachusettes decided to perform a mock lightsaber battle in their cafeteria during lunch. While the students who viewed the battle gave a standing ovation, school officials were not quite as amused. The school's principle promptly suspended the participating students and informed them that they had lost their priviledge to attend graduation. Check out the local news video below detailing the lightsaber battle with witness accounts.

Fellow classmates and supporters from around the world have come to the defense of the 2 students and the support looks to have paid off. MassLive.com now reports that Westfield High School Principal Raymond K. Broderick has overturned the suspensions (along with the suspensions of a couple students who spread Vaseline on a number of school door knobs) and the students will once again be able to attend graduation. All's well that ends well!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
