SoloCommand sends the following in:

LucasArts have just released the first patch for Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith
Lords (PC Edition), which is for international versions of the game only (UK,
French, German, Italian and Spanish). Sadly, it doesn't tackle any of the
technical issues that plague the game, however, it does go in and correct some
of the language errors/spelling, which is no bad thing.

Essentially, I think this is just something to tide over the European release
until they manage to fix some of the more major problems, which we can probably
expect in the first US and next international patch release.
