It's been a while since we've done so, but let's dive into a Fan Art Spotlight with our friend Eric Siebeneck of the Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club. We've previously posted the TFN-inspired image above and have also noted inclusion of his artwork in issues of Star Wars Insider.
Eric works as a web designer/developer and does some commissioned artwork on the side. From 1999-2004 Eric had his own Star Wars fan site where he created Flash games and downloads such as his Adobe and Microsoft award winning Windows Media Player skin. His work has also been used for t-shirt designs. Eric's piece titled ?Spilled Blue Milk? will be pictured in Mark Dermul?s upcoming book ?Saving the Lars Homestead." Eric tells TFN, ?I just love to create and am always busy on one project or another. Someday I would love to work with a Star Wars licensee." Wouldn't we all!
We thank Eric for sharing some of his creations with us and we wish him the best of luck as he continues his art pursuits. Click on any of the images in the gallery below for full views of Eric's artwork.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
