Following BioWare's press conference at E3 2012, we have a couple items to pass along regarding the ongoing Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. What looks to be the biggest TOR news coming out of E3 so far is that as of July the game will become free-to-play for the first 15 levels. Hopefully this move will allow more players to test the GFFA gaming experience so that by the time they max out their free-to-play capabilities, they'll be ready to subscribe. Rueters.com breaks down the free-to-play shift while Joystiq.com displays a promo image.
BioWare also displayed a new video previewing what fans can expect over the next year. Such features include:
- New Space Mission: Space Station Assault - New Operation: Terror From Beyond - New Companion: HK-51 Assassin Droid - New level cap and combat capabilities - New Warzone: Ancient Hypergates - The new world of Makeb
We'll be sure to keep you posted if, and when, more TOR news is revealed at E3 2012.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
