If you're in the Detroit, MI area tomorrow, how about watching a basketball game and meeting Billy Dee Williams? Our friend Jon Leopold from the 501st Legion's Great Lakes Garrison writes in to let us know about the Detroit Pistons Star Wars Night, happening tomorrow at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Detroit Pistons Star Wars Night with special guest Billy Dee Williams!
Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) is signing from 6-7 p.m. for FREE! He will only be signing special Lando cards that Pistons are providing. The Great Lakes Garrison (501st) & Great Lakes Base (Rebel Legion) will have over 20 characters greeting the fans.

Detroit Pistons Bring Star Wars Night to The Palace Friday, Jan. 4 Billy Dee Williams Will Sign Autographs at Pistons Power Hour
Star Wars Night is back at The Palace of Auburn Hills this Friday, Jan. 4 when the Detroit Pistons play the Atlanta Hawks at 7:30 p.m.!
Billy Dee Williams or Lando Calrissian to fans of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi will sign autographs during Pistons Power Hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Palace North Pavilion as part of Friday Night Out, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings.
Lando will be joined by Chewbacca, R2D2, Boba Fett, Jedi Knights and from the dark side, Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers throughout the evening. The Pistons Star Wars-themed halftime show will also feature never before seen Star Wars video footage courtesy of Lucas Films and a performance from our Pistons Entertainment teams.
Star Wars-themed food and cocktails, like the Darth Burger and the Yodatini (Hint: Its green!), will be available for purchase in the North Pavilion throughout the game.
The Pistons Locker Room Store is also offering 30% off all Adidas jerseys and Court apparel.
Fans should be sure pick up the free Pistons interactive Action Guide game program that includes a souvenir Pistons poster, chances to win prizes each quarter and discounts on concessions and merchandise throughout the game.
