Darth Vader, Scream Awards Ultimate Villain

At Spike TV's 2011 Scream Awards, which aired last night, Darth Vader was given the "Ultimate Villain" award in celebration of his legendary status in film history and his role as arguably the most recognizable villain in the history of pop culture. Actress Kate Beckinsale introduced the Dark Lord, who took the stage and proceeded to bemoan George Lucas' changes to the Star Wars films. Seconds later, The Maker himself took the stage and holding Vader's award. Check out the video below!

As a Harry Potter fan, I also feel obligated to mention the Scream Awards' Potter/Wars connection: At a satellite event at Lincoln Center in New York City, Samuel L. Jackson (Mace Windu) presented actor Daniel Radcliffe with the Potter film series' "Ultimate Scream" award. You can watch that video here.
