Dark Horse Reveals Clone Wars Covers Posted By Jay on July 17, 2008
Dark Horse updated their website yesterday with the solicitation covers for the first two issues of The Clone Wars series'.
Up first is The Clone Wars quarterly digest. These smaller, but fatter comics, are reminiscent of the Clone Wars Adventures or Indiana Jones Adventures title. The first two Volumes covers, "Shipyards of Doom" and "Crash Course", are previewed here.
Next up are the first two issues of The Clone Wars, a six issue mini series that appears to tell the story of the movie, with other non-movie stories included. The real treat is that issue #1 has a cover by The Clone Wars film and television director, Dave Filoni. Make sure to ask him about it at Celebration: Japan, or at his meet and greet at San Diego Comic Con.
The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker Posted By Dustin on August 27, 2008: Many of you probably don't know Photographer Kim Simmons, but you will recognize his photography of vintage and modern Star Wars collectibles. He has opened up a website right here where you can now order prints and posters of his nostalgic photography so many of us grew up with over the years. We (The Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club) had Kim as a VIP guest at this year's Summer Social and I must say the prints he has are amazing to see first hand!
