Massively and Darth Hater both report on news surfacing through the Star Wars: The Old Republic message boards of closed beta testing for the game this weekend (June 26 & 27). Apparently 100-200 invitations were sent out and it does not look like TOR community manager Sean Dahlberg has denied the reports.
Here is what he had to say through two posts on TOR boards:
"Thanks for the information and it's definitely interesting that people are posting about our Game Testing Program. We don't have anything official to say at this moment but if you have any questions, please check out the Game Testing Program FAQ"
And...
"The Game Testing Agreement that was agreed upon (when signing up for game testing) states:
PERMITTED DISCLOSURES 1. The fact that there is a Game Program. 2. The fact that you are a member of the Game Program.
Outside of that, it is a violation of the agreement to do anything more such as posting images or screen captures of anything related to Game Testing that is private and confidential and not already publicly revealed by The Old Republic team."
The thread referring to the testing has not been locked and some graphic signals have led our source sites to lean towards the rumors being true. We'll keep you posted if, and when, we hear something official. Until then, speculate away!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
