Star Wars fans who are old enough should have a wave of memories come rushing back to them as they enjoy this story by Pete Vilmur posted over on StarWars.com. Check out the intro below and then point your browser HERE for the full read.
"As we continue to celebrate 30 years of The Empire Strikes Back this year, we would be remiss without mentioning another noteworthy event celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2010 -- the first theatrical U.S. showing of all three original Star Wars movies from the classic trilogy.
On March 28, 1985, fans in the U.S. and Canada got to see all three movies from the original trilogy -- A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi -- together for the first time in a movie theater setting. This was a big deal in 1985 -- at the time, the saga had already been around for nearly eight years, and Return of the Jedi was still a year out from its first official video debut. The films were also presented in 70mm with THX sound -- state of the art for 1985."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
