Catching Up With The Official SW.com Blog

We love us a good old fashioned round-up post so let's catch up with some of the new additions to the Official StarWars.com Blog (with the exception of the "Ask Dave" series since we've already posted on those).

First up, Bryan Young has started a new series of posts focusing in on the film influences of Star Wars. The first installment takes a look at The Hidden Fortress.

Speaking of new post series, Steve Sansweet has posted part 1 of his new series titled, From the Hobart Street News to Star Wars: The Ultimate Action Figure Collection.

For all of us who missed the TCW Season 5 screening in San Francisco, the SW.com Team provides a fantastic recap.

With Star Wars Reads Day (Oct. 6) on the mind, Tom Angleberger dives into the wide range of fun included in DK's Star Wars book titles.

Along the same Star Wars Reads Day lines, Timothy Zahn shares some of his own personal favorite book experiences.

And last, but certainly not least, Katie Cook pays tribute to Mark Hamill's birthday with yet another adorable cartoon.
