CVI: The Dark Empire's Sith Inquisition

Our friends in The Dark Empire costume club have sent word of their charity Sith Inquisition activity which will be coming to Celebration VI and other conventions this summer season...

UPDATE: It's certainly worth noting that The Dark Empire's Sith Inquisition activity will be raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

And now, back to the activity's description...

The Sith Inquisition
PURPOSE:
To provide a fun way to raise funds and awareness for a charitable cause at conventions and events where TDE has a table, staffed by a member, at which funds are being raised and/or collected for charity.

HOW IT WORKS:
? A person wishing to participate must first find a costumed member of TDE, and verify that they are a member of The Dark Empire (?Are you a member of TDE??).
? The participant must then point out someone (pre-selected by them) in the crowd to the TDE member(s), and accuse them of treason against the Empire (?I accuse this person of treason against The Dark Empire!?).
? The TDE member(s) in costume will then raise their lightsaber, blaster, or other weapon prop, or their hands in a manner to suggest Sith Lightning, and then inform the selectee that they are accused of treason against the Empire, and they must be escorted to the TDE table to pay for their crime. (?You stand accused of treason against The Dark Empire. The darksiders of TDE insist that you accompany us to our table to pay for your crime.?).
? The accusor, the TDE member(s), and the selectee then proceed to the TDE table. Once there, the selectee must either pay for his/her crime in any dollar amount to the charity that funds are being raised for, in order to be acquitted of the charges brought against them.
? If the selectee (person accused) cannot pay, then the accusor may decide to donate any dollar amount on behalf of the accused, so that the ?charges? may be dropped.
? Once the crime has been paid for, the selectee (person accused) is then acquitted of all charges and ?allowed to go free,? with a warning that they may be ?inquisited? again in the future.

TERMS:
Participants must be adults or minors under adult supervision. Any amount may be donated. If the selectee (?accused?) refuses to participate, the accusor may elect to pay for the crime on their behalf, so that the ?charges? may be dropped.
