CVI: News From The Essential Guides Panel Posted By Mike on August 30, 2012
Del Rey's Erich Schoeneweiss took to theStar Wars Books Facebook page to make sure we didn't miss out on the big news coming out of the Essential Guides panel from CVI...
"Sunday was the final day of Star Wars Celebration VI and featured the Essential Guides panel with myself, Pablo Hidalgo, Jason Fry, Chris Trevas, Jeff Carlisle, and Doug Wheatley. The majority of the discussion was dedicated to THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO WARFARE and THE ESSENTIAL READER'S COMPANION but I was able to make two announcements:
1) Beginning with WARFARE and READER'S COMPANION on October 2, Del Rey will release the Essential Guide books in eBook formats as well. After the first two books we will follow up with an additional Guide like ATLAS and GUIDE TO THE FORCE every few months. More to come on this.
2) Many of you who follow us on this Facebook page know that Dan Wallace and myself have been working on the next ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO CHARACTERS book for Summer 2013. What you didn't know until Sunday is that STAR WARS: DARK TIMES artist Doug Wheatley has been working on it as well. Doug will be handling all 150 illustrations for the new book and I'm thrilled. Dark Times is by far one of my favorite Dark Horse comic books and this is a dream come true for me to get to work with Doug. Attached are three of the finished character illustrations for the book."

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
