Four days. 113 Panels, 12 Screenings, 5 parties, plus various signings, meet & greets, and on-going events on the exhibit floor! You can't do them all! Heck, you can't even do half of them. But, the most important thing is to review all the events, mark the ones most important to you, and then work the plan!
Here are some highlights from the Official Schedule. Be sure to check the schedule on site to make sure nothing has changed.
If celebrities are your cup of tea, then be sure to look for panels featuring Mark Hamill, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels, Jeremy Bulloch & Daniel Logan, as well Tim Rose & Mike Quinn. There's literally dozens of collecting panels, and for each one you attend, there's a free Star Tots collectible given away. It'll take strong nerves and commitment to get them all! Kids of all ages will have fun making their own Origami Star Wars characters, or enjoying screenings of various episodes of The Clone Wars throughout the weekend. And for the reader, there's plenty of panels on upcoming comics, and books, plus your favorite authors give out free advice on writing characters, plots and making your stories better!
Beside the officially listed events there's also lots of other interesting things to look out for throughout the show.
Of course you don't want to miss a live recording of the ForceCast. There will be a different one each day, with Friday's being a panel at 2:00pm. There's the lovely Slave Leia photo shoot at the Gentle Giant booth on Saturday as well as the 501st Group Photo. You have never seen more slave girls and/or members of the Empire in one place. The collector's room is also sponsoring a number of meet and greets with Fan Clubs, authors, artists and podcasters. Plus be on the look out at different exhibitors for visiting authors, artists and celebrities!
Again, don't try to do them all, but take a look at the events and pick something you like, and then choose something you don't know anything about. I think you'll be surprised what's out there. Remember it's a big universe! You can find a rundown of all the events listed here, plus more in the Event Schedule listing in our Rebelscum.com Celebration VI Survival Guide. Also make sure to download the Event Schedule PDF for instant access on your smartphone or tablet!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
