Billy Dee At Sunscreen Film Festival

The 2010 Sunscreen Film Festival in Florida had a very special guest appearance at its opening night festivities - Mr. Smooth himself, Billy Dee Williams! As if his mere presence weren't enough, Billy Dee was escorted by a group of costumed Star Wars fans during the event.

"Accompanied by Darth Vader, R2-D2, Stormtroopers and assorted aliens, actor Billy Dee Williams made a dramatic entrance this evening at the Sunscreen Film Festival.

Best known as Lando Calrissian from two of the "Star Wars" movies, Williams was accompanied by a Florida group of "Star Wars" re-enactors.

There are no "Star Wars" movies being shown at Sunscreen, but Williams gets this kind of reaction just about everywhere he goes. And he enjoys the attention.

"You see a lot of these people and a lot of people think they are nuts or kooks, but they are really not. They are just fans," said the 73-year-old actor who helped kick off the fifth annual festival."
