Atom's "Operation Olivia" Fan Film Contest Posted By Justin on September 24, 2009
The library of Star Wars fan films has been expanding to enormous volumes for years. Fans have used their creative talents to come up with extremely popular videos (and some almost like mini movies) based on characters and/or scenes from that galaxy far, far away.
As reported last month during the San Diego Comic-Con coverage on the Official Star Wars Blog site, Atom.com is currently holding a fan movie contest entitled "Operation Olivia" in which the winner will have G4TV personality Olivia Munn "star" in their Star Wars fan film.
Visit the official Atom.com website for more details and contest rules, and get your submissions in quickly because the deadline for all entries is September 3rd.
Oh, and Olivia has an urgent message for all you fan film creators...
UPDATE: The Official Starwars.com Blog reminds us that the Operation Olivia deadline is approaching (12 noon PST on September 3).
UPDATE #2: According to Starwars.com, the winner in the "Operation Olivia" contest has been announced.

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated.
