The Memphis Commercial Appeal has taken notice of the artwork of local comic book illustrator, Dean Zachary. Though known for a variety of work, TFN readers may know of his illustrations from Knights of the Old Republic #38. Click here for the feature on Zachary and see below for an excerpt:
"Zachary even got to do something in that issue that will likely stir envy in Star Wars fans: he created the look for a character named Toki Tollivar, a Sith assassin resembling an evil cat.
"I sent this (design) to Dark Horse, and they sent it to Lucasfilm. They loved it," Zachary said. "I actually got to contribute to the Star Wars universe. That's cool."
While nothing has been finalized yet, both Zachary and Marshall are hoping he gets another chance to play with those Star Wars worlds."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
