I've got a friend in Maryland who is going to be attending an advanced screening of The Clone Wars on August 10th at a military base near his home. I didn't think anything of it until I saw this email we got today from MSgt Jeff Godemann, stationed at Minot A.F.B. in North Dakota.
"My wife just got back from our local Base Exchange here at Minot AFB, ND. She picked up two tickets to a FREE advance screening of "Clone Wars" on Sunday, 10 August 2008. I'll be there. :-)
The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) runs the movie theaters on military installations around the world. You need a military or dependent ID to get in, so it won't be open to the general public.
So, heads up to all my fellow military! Head on over to the local Exchange and see if the free screening is happening your base or post!"
Thanks for the heads up Jeff! Calling all Military Serving Star Wars fans, check your local installation theatre to see if your base is participating!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
