Those in the Modesto, California area may want to mark their calendars for Tuesday, July 28th at 6:00pm. Why do you ask? Well, the State Theater of Modesto will be presenting Star Wars: A New Hope on the big screen at the date and time specified. Tickets will run you $7 and you can click here for more details.
Thanks to Patty for sending in the news!
UPDATE: Friend of TFN, Gabe, attended the Episode IV screening in Modesto and sent over the following report with pictures.
"The audience totally rocked! Screaming, cheering for the characters, swinging lightsabers, man it was like the movie just came out! And the best thing of it all, and this was really emotional for me to see, little kids, from 5-12 years old, GLUED to their seats, and just in awe of what was being projected on screen!
That was the best part of this night! Talk about nostalgia! "Star Wars" will never die! It's the ultimate classic.
Thanks AGAIN George!
I'm trying to convince the theater to do an original trilogy screening. I'd even settle for a prequel screening! Indy might happen looks like."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
