We have a couple fan reports to pass along from the first Star Wars Weekend of 2012 at Disney. First up, Joey sent over the following:
*Scroll down to the bottom for an update from Joey regarding the Carbon Freeze Chamber.
"I attended the first day of Star Wars Weekends on Friday. It was so much fun! Jerome Blake wasn't there as originally listed, but Andy Secombe replaced him. I was able to meet James Arnold Taylor and get his autograph which was awesome! I went to the first showing of Behind the Force hosted by Ashley Eckstein which took a look at the making of a Clone Wars episode. At the end, they showed an extended preview for Season 5. Unfortunately I didn't get a video, but it looks amazing. There was a scene that mentions stuff taking place on Alderaan and it looks like there is going to be a story arc taking place there!
I also did the Carbon Freeze Me experience. It was a little disorganized, but I was one of the first people to do it so I guess they were still working out the kinks. The theater it in was decorated like the carbon chamber in Empire and everybody was in character referring to me as a prisoner, etc."
Thanks Joey! Click on any of the images below for full views.
Next up, we have coverage from Chickaphant in the form of videos featuring the Opening Day Parade along with the Behind The Force show. Below the videos, you'll find pictures of the Disney Star Wars merchandise store known as Darth's Mall. As with above, click on the thumbnails for full views. Thanks Chickaphant!
Thanks again to Joey and Chickaphant for helping to leave no fan behind!
UPDATE: Joey sent along the following short follow-up report with images...
"I just got my Carbon Freeze Me package in the mail yesterday! They packaged it nicely which I wasn't expecting. I was also expecting it to have a rubbery feel, but it is more like stone. I've attached several pictures."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
