The Disney Parks Blog posted this morning about the first Walt Disney World Star Tours meetup, which will be taking place in the early morning hours of May 20th. Don't go trying to sign up, though, as the event is already full. The blog post was recently updated and Disney's Thomas Smith reported a "great response" to the open invitation.
The meetup, which will take place from 12:01 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on May 20th, was described as follows:
[J]ust after Disney?s Hollywood Studios closes to the public on May 19, parts of the park will re-open for a special meet-up to celebrate the galactic debut of the new 3-D attraction.

Those in attendance will be among a group at our panel discussion with Walt Disney Imagineers. They?ll offer an insider?s look at Star Tours ? The Adventures Continue and share some behind-the-scenes details about the experience. Fans will also have a chance to ask questions about the making-of the attraction and what it?s like to work on this project. There will also be a few surprises you won?t want to miss.
In the comments section of the Disney blog post, Smith promised that meetup attendees will not only learn about the attraction from Imagineers, but actually get "an opportunity to experience [Star Tours]" themselves. He also said that the meetup "is a free event."
Bummed that you didn't RSVP in time? While this event is full, Smith indicated that "additional meet-ups" will occur in the future.
