"This Is Madness" Star Wars Character Tournament Posted By Eric on March 15, 2013
Mashable has the exclusive reveal of a new event on StarWars.com, a "March Madness"-style tournament called (of course) "This is Madness."
Here's how Mashable describes it:
Fans get to vote on daily matchups between characters at Starwars.com. Jedi will face off against Jedi, Sith against Sith, rebel against rebel, bounty hunter against bounty hunter, wookiee versus Ewok, and scoundrel against scoundrel. The winners in each bracket face off until we reach the final Force-filled matchup between light and dark sides.
Voting will begin on Monday, March 18. Han vs. Lando, Obi-Wan vs. Qui-Gon, Luke vs. Wedge, and Yoda vs. Mace Windu are among the first match-ups. Check out the official tournament page here. You can see the full bracket below, followed by an introductory video from Lord Vader.
