Star Wars and Halloween go hand in hand, whether it be the plethora of Star Wars costumes out there trick-or-treating or the various creatively carved Star Wars-inspired jack-o-lanterns. In this post, let's celebrate the latter by inviting our readers to send in images of your Star Wars pumpkin creations. Big or small, intricate or simple; it doesn't matter. If it celebrates Star Wars and puts a smile on your face, then we'd love to see it. Don't worry if you end up sending in your pictures after October 31st as we realize a number of you don't carve your pumpkins until then.
Let's kick things off with a look at our friend Jeff Y.'s stromtrooper pumpkin and we'll follow that up with some links to images of intricate Star Wars pumpkins at the Between the Pages blog. We'll update as submissions are sent in!
Thanks to Jeff and Karen! You can also visit the Official Starwars.com Blog for some more pumpkin fan-creations.
UPDATE: Our friend David F. presents everyone's favorite Mon Calamari Admiral...
Thanks David!
UPDATE #2: Our latest update comes to us via TFN reader Mike (Darth Zemog):
"Thought I would send my 2010 SW pumpkins into you per your story! This year I went with a Stormtrooper since I now have actual Stormtrooper armor, ala 501st and an idea I had last year, but didn't work with my "Bounty Hunters" theme, the "Blizzard Squadron" of AT-ATs from ESB!
I do all my carving with the pumpkin cutter too, no fancy carving tools for me! ;-)
Here are the links to this years and the last couple of years pumpkins too!"
