Let's kick things off this week with a couple quick hits from the 2012 Academy Awards. Congrats to ILM for Rangotaking home the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. People.com reports that Natalie Portman quietly married her fianc? Benjamin Millepied. Their evidence for this is the big sparkly wedding ring she was sporting at the event. And a blog at the LA Times compares the Academy Awards lobby bar to the Cantina in ANH.
Gizmodo reports that Avinash Arora has updated his Star Wars Last Supper mosaic with HD images from the Blu-ray set.

The Chicago Sun-Times recently caught up with Ewan McGregor as he promotes his new film Salmon Fishing In Yemen. In the interview, which you can read here, Ewan touches on being surprised by the Episode I 3D release, how it feels like filming TPM was such a long time ago, and how he appreciates the re-release, if nothing else, for the promotion of the theatrical experience. Excerpt below...
"He?s glad people interested in Anakin Skywalker?s origins have an alternative to home video.
?Actors and directors go to a great deal of trouble shooting films to be seen on the big screen,? McGregor says. ?I don?t want it to be a dying art. I don?t want cinemas to go the way of bookstores and record shops.
?That?s why it?s important to have ?Star Wars? on the big screen. You need to see that film because it?s such a spectacular film. There is some kid out there who should see it larger than life. That?s the way all movies should be seen.?' (Thanks Jimmy!)
