Yesterday's SpaceUp Houston event received some attention from the Star Wars universe in the form of stormtroopers, Rebel soldiers, and even Lord Vader himself!



Here's what friend of TFN and NASA Johnson Space Center employee Holly Griffith had to say about it:

"The 501st Legion and Rebel Legion descended upon SpaceUp Houston on Feburary 13th. Members from Star Garrison and Kessel Base pose with NASA's Space Exploration Vechicle. The SEV can be used both for in-space missions and for surface exploration of planetary bodies, including near-Earth objects, the moon and Mars. SpaceUp is a user-generated conference based on space exploration. One of the topics at the conference included space in pop culture, and these members of the Empire and Rebellion were happy to help out and illustrate this concept."
