Lucasfilm has confirmed via
StarWars.com
that the next generation of Star Wars box sets will be released on
September 16, 2011
. Their original story, "
Pre-order Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray Now!
", has been updated today with this line:
"The most anticipated Blu-ray release ever -- the Star Wars Saga -- emerges from light speed on September 16, 2011!"
I guess that invalidates
our previous prediction
