R2-D2 Brings A Message To A Soldier's Family

If you like feel-good Star Wars stories then the one from WABI.tv may bring a smile to your face. For the past 7 months, Lieutenant Commander Dustin Smiley has been deployed overseas. While he's been away, his wife and his 3 sons have been hosting a variety of dinner guests in order to fill the void at his table setting. As the kids are big Star Wars fans, one of their recent dinner guests was none other than R2-D2. Our favorite astromech droid was a lovely house guest and he even went so far as to display a message from Dustin Smiley to his kids as a projection on the wall. It was all very cute.
