The Official Disney Parks Blog today announced that Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Yoda, Princess Leia, and Admiral Ackbar will be part of Disney's upcoming Star Tours relaunch. This cast announcement is intriguing because it includes a character whose appearance necessitates the use of an unmasked actor -- namely, Princess Leia. While everyone else could be portrayed either via CGI or by any number of actors, it will be interesting to see how the Disney team brings Princess Leia into the mix.

Disney also announced the introduction of a new variety of Imperial foot soldier when it revealed that Darth Vader "will be accompanied by legions of stormtroopers and some new ?skytroopers,? designed especially for our show."

And, because a tease always piques a reader's interest, the Disney blog post ended with this tidbit: "We may even run into Chewbacca along the way!"
