Apparently, last month there was a rumor floating around the interweb that George Lucas was buying up the rights to a number of deceased actors so that he could use his CGI magic to incorporate them into an upcoming film. The rumor stemmed from comments made by Radioland Murders director Mel Smith in an interview with London's The Daily Mail. Underwire at Wired.com heard from Josh Kushins of Lucasfilm who shot down the report as being "completely false." The use of deceased actors in modern television and film can be a bit of a polarizing subject. Let's all be glad we don't have to officially open up that bag of worms in regards to The Maker so we can focus on a resurgence of action in The Clone Wars after the New Year.
