Hong Kong Midnight Madness Report

Darth Casey sends in a report of Midnight Madness at Toys R Us in Hong Kong:

The line moved quickly in to one of the smallest TRU's you'd expect to find - some of the staff were dressed as Stormtroopers and very short Darth Vader's.

There was alot of stuff on sale and it moved like hotcakes! WOW! Never seen such a rush for action figures and TRU did have a good amount of stock available as nothing was really sold out. The Star Wars Unleashed figures went the fastest - only a few Greivous were left...the 12" dolls all went pretty quickly. EP3 Lego was on display and I think it was a great turnout and lots of fun for the Star Wars fans in Hong Kong, and there seemed to be more than I thought there would be. The checkouts were jam packed with people picking up at least 3-5 items ranging from lightsabers to figures to Vader helmet's.

All in all a fun time - we waited an hour and were in the store pushing and shoving - I made it out alive and am glad I went - Star Wars is huge in Hong Kong!
