Friend of TFN, Leonardo N. wrote with the following news of Anthony Daniels in Brazil. See below:
"Anthony Daniels, the actor behind C-3PO is in Brazil to promote The Star Wars Expo, to be held in the city of S?o Paulo in March 2008. Yesterday, Sept. 20th, the actor was interviewed by Brazilian journalists. As he entered the room the Imperial March was played. He had a small C-3PO statue and a Portuguese dictionary on his hands and was very outgoing and communicative. "Like C-3PO, I'm very talkative and I want to be in control of things" - said the actor, speaking some words in Portuguese in between. "I'm sorry for not speaking Portuguese properly, but I'm sure you're smarter then me." Daniels revealed that next month he will be in London recording his voice to Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the CG TV series produced by George Lucas.
When questioned about the rumours of a live action TV series he said that nothing is yet certain. "The question is, will I be willing to play C-3PO again? Thirty years ago, when I first put on C-3PO's costume, I had long and dark hair. Today they are white. Maybe I'm too old for that..." explaind Daniels. "At the same time, C-3PO has been my friend for 30 years and it's not going to be easy to let him go."
Anthony Daniels also had authographs sessions on the 19th and yesterday, and will return again to Brazil in March for the Expo's opening."
Big thanks to Leonardo for the news and pics.
