And yes, there will be awards, took forward to a wide range of serious and silly categories. Special guests include standup comedian and impersonator Dennis Carter, Jr as well as AeroSith, the Star Wars Parody Band. Hosted by renowned Long Island DJ Ken Deep, the show will be held at I-CON 27 on Saturday at 5 PM in Javits 101. Please vote for the awards here! Thanks "prncessleiao"! "2008 STAR WARS FAN AWARDS RESULTS - April 5, 2008 The Long Island Fan Force club Docking Bay 516 put on a successful Awards show at StoneyBrook NY's I-CON Convention this past weekend. Ray Park and Daniel Logan were on hand to recieve awards. Dennis Carter Jr performed his standup act "Star Wars Characters road Trip" and AeroSith: The Star Wars Parody band provided live-on-stage entertainment. It was a fun celebration of Star Wars Fandom. 1. Best Northeast Fan Club submitted Star Wars Costume was Virginia Kid Leia (not present to accept) 2.
